Wait and See Comedy is a Rhode Island–based standup collective created by siblings Jenna Trudel and Devin Cooper.

We built this to do what we believe matters most in comedy: get funnier. That’s why we started our weekly open mic, The Waiting Room, on Tuesdays at the AmVets in Fall River. We wanted to create a space where it’s actually fun to work on material — not a place where comics show up late, go up, and leave. We believe the best rooms are built when people stick around, sit up front, and support each other — so we reward comics who do.

We also produce shows, including fundraisers, private events, and our showcase The Watchlist, which highlights local favorites and rising comics worth keeping an eye on.

We don’t need to beg for a seat at the table — we’re building our own.

If you’re funny, then working hard, showing up, and treating people right will pay off. It’s inevitable. Time will tell.⌚👀
