About Wait and See Comedy

Wait and See Comedy is a Rhode Island–based standup collective created by siblings Devin Cooper and Jenna Trudel.

We wanted to create a space and community built on mutual effort. You get what you give. Anyone who walks through the door is part of it. What you bring after that is your choice.

So we built the kind of room we want to spend time in. That's why we started our weekly open mic, The Waiting Room, on Tuesdays at the AmVets in Fall River — a room where comics don't just walk in, do five minutes, and leave.

We produce our monthly show at the AmVets, The Secondhand Smokeshow, along with our recurring showcase, The Watchlist, and private fundraisers.

If you're funny, working hard, showing up, and treating people right — it will pay off. It's inevitable.
